Thoroughly revised and expanded, the historic basin of Port Maurizio has been transformed in one of the largest marinas of the Mediterranean and offers to boaters, since the spring of 2010, date of completion of works at sea, the possibility to host up to 1,300 boats (from 5 to 90 meters). An elegant combination of technology and tradition, located in the beautiful picture of the ancient village, has allowed retaining the 5 floating piers perpendicular to the Aicardi Promenade, allocating to yachts the quay of the Anselmi Slope, some time destined for cargo ships mooring, and installing fixed piers in the new basin of San Lazzaro. There are also spaces in the new settlement for the yachting boatyard, marina caves, services and parking lots. Work continues to complete the land projects that once completed, will include the Yacht Club, residential settlements, craft and commercial spaces and additional parking.
